MONTREAL—Transcontinental Printing has tapped MAN Roland to provide three Colorman XXL newspaper web presses for its printing plant that will produce the San Francisco Chronicle and other products.

The presses will be installed in 2008, and are slated to go live in 2009.
Transcontinental prints 75 daily and weekly newspapers, including The Globe and Mail of Toronto and the New York Times.
