The Flottman Co. Wins Two Platinum MARCOM Awards
CINCINNATI, OH—Nov 13, 2012—In its inaugural entry to the contest, the Flottman Co. has received two platinum-level honors in the annual MARCOM Awards administered by the Assn. of Marketing and Communication Professionals. These awards recognize excellence in creative achievement on an international level.
This year, the program received more than 6,000 entries—from individual communicators and agencies of all sizes to Fortune 500 companies. The prestigious Platinum Award level is presented to only those entries judged to be the most outstanding entries in the entire competition, based on excellence in quality, creativity and presentation.
Flottman received a Platinum Award in the category of Marketing/Promo Campaign/Self Promotion for its self-promotional campaign, titled “We deliver WOW!” The campaign included a new color scheme, art impression and content.
The entry consisted of a four-panel, gate-fold, four-color brochure;, multiple one-page branded sales sheets, a direct mail program, branded pocket folder and print advertising placement. Highlighted in the brochure is the printer’s focus on empowering business to “communicate brilliantly” with marketing solutions and printing expertise.
The Flottman’s second Platinum MARCOM Award came in the Brochure/Capabilities category for the piece created to introduce the Rxperts Printing Alliance. Titled “We are the Package Deal,” the folded brochure adopted a green color scheme that unified the colors of the alliance members.
The content of the brochure included the numerous capabilities offered by the Rxperts, a folding carton, label and miniature insert corporate alliance that works primarily with pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies. The brochure included a tabbed miniature folded one-sheeter that highlighted the SecuRxperts security solutions as a fraud deterrent. In addition, a miniature folded piece demonstrated the folding capabilities of Rxperts.
Flottman also received an Honorable Mention for its monthly employee internal newsletter in the category of Employee Publications.

These awards put the Flottman Team in some great company with marketing titans like Northlich, American Airlines, NASA, Paragon Design Group, Fidelity Investments and Fifth Third Bank.
