The Ace Group Produces Time Out New York’s Premier QR Code IssueOctober 26, 2010
The editorial QR codes are used throughout the cover feature, “Apartments 2010.” The Time Out New York branded QR codes seen in this section allow a reader mobile access to additional content, videos, social networking and contests. The issue features 100 of the hottest rental apartments in the five boroughs. The QR codes enhance the readers’ experience of the article with video tours with local business owners and celebrities, highlighting three different neighborhoods where they live or work.
Advertisers were offered positions throughout the issue to enhance their printed advertisements with an online experience that included videos, ticket sales, discounts and contests.
You can visit The Ace Group's Blog at www.acegroupnyc.com/blog/ to see a visual of the Front Cover of the issue and scan the QR code that will bring you to the following link: http://m.timeoutny.mobi.
If you do not have a QR code reader application on your mobile phone, enter m.timeoutny.mobi/qr into your mobile phone’s browser. It will instantly identify the make and model of your phone and redirect you to the best, “free” QR code reader application.
Val DiGiacinto, vice president of sales and partner of The Ace Group, explained, “This campaign includes all the back-end programming and data processing required to track each of the scans in very unique ways. We have invested almost 3-years of research and development into mobile marketing and QR code technology and have become one of the top QR code and marketing solution providers in the country.”
Account Executive, John Gagliardi, said, “Our collaboration with Time Out New York is one of the most exciting QR code campaigns we have produced to date. We are utilizing every process we have developed over the past three years to make this and future issues of Time Out New York interactive. Recent campaigns with clients like the NBA, Calvin Klein and PIX11 have been very successful and we know that the Time Out New York campaign will certainly add to the overall awareness and effectiveness of mobile marketing with QR codes.”
“It has been very exciting to see our entire team work to prepare and launch this ambitious campaign,” said owners Tony and Vincent Gagliardi. “It has been an adventure and we have really enjoyed watching our company continue to change over the years, as we integrate the newest technologies that will maintain The Ace Group’s leadership position.”
