Tech Valley Printing to Lay Off 50 Workers

WATERVLIET, NY—Citing economic difficulties, Tech Valley Printing has notified the New York State Department of Labor that it is laying off 50 workers, according to the Schenectdady (NY) Daily Gazette.
The printer had been active in the acquisition market, picking up Baronet Litho in Johnstown, NY, and Schenectdady-based State Color in 2005, according to the paper. Its headquarters were expanded by 70,000 square feet in 2005, as well.
