Tech-ni-fold’s Tri-Creaser Issued US Patent 7,563,220

LUTTERWORTH, LEICS, UK—07/29/2009—Tech-ni-fold Ltd in the UK was issued US Patent 7,563,220 on July 21, 2009 for it’s popular Tri-Creaser™, a creasing device which eliminates fiber cracking and retro-fits most popular folding and scoring machines.

The Tri-Creaser™ design has evolved over the years and the issued patent covers a multitude of variations and significant structural advantages. Technifold USA will be demonstrating the latest Fast-Fit version of the Tri-Creaser™ at the PRINT 09 show in Chicago Sept 11-16 at Booth 5152.

The Fast Fit Tri-Creaser™ incorporates a unique split creasing rib system that lets operators change the crease setting in well under a minute. Machine shafts never have to be removed once the device is installed and on certain scoring machines and perfect binder cover feeders, this design improvement means substantial time savings. The operator instantly gets the right letterpress quality crease on stocks from 100# text up through 16 pt.
