T-shirt Printers Honor Milwaukee Mayor

MILWAUKEE—Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who gained national attention for the beating he took after coming to the aid of a woman in distress, is being lionized by several area screen printers.

Will Enterprises donated about a dozen "Supermayor Tom Barrett" t-shirts that borrow the Superman-style S to the mayor's office. Sales Manager Kevin Ullrich told The Associated Press that with the shirts in such high demand, the company is now selling a similar version with an M emblem for mayor. Brew City Brand Apparel is offering a black and yellow shirt with the message "Our Mayor Ain't No Cream Puff."
