Standard Register to Cut 250 Positions
July 2007
DAYTON OH—In an effort to reduce its annual operating costs by $40 million, Standard Register has eliminated 250 positions, mostly in management and overhead, to save $22 million per year.
Earlier this year, Standard Register shaved $5 million by consolidating its manufacturing and warehousing operations. More initiatives that target purchasing costs and other non-compensation expenditures are expected to lower costs by an additional $13 million per year.
