'Social Media Face-Off' Session One of Two DMA2010 Presentations to be Streamed Live

NEW YORK, NY—Oct. 5, 2010—The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) today announced live video streaming for two Monday DMA2010 sessions: CEO Larry Kimmel’s opening remarks and "Social Media Face-Off," in which 10 digital gurus will duke it out as they try to monetize social media marketing.

The global community is invited to watch DMA CEO Larry Kimmel’s opening remarks on Monday, October 11, at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Kimmel is set to discuss where marketing is today and where it’s heading. Phase 1 of DMA’s new website will also be revealed that morning. “How do I monetize social media for my organization?” It’s one of the most important questions for marketers today, and the public is invited to watch the discussion. Social Media Face-Off at 4:25 p.m. Pacific Time, is the session where the gurus representing Appssavvy, Rapleaf, Big Fuel, Darden Restaurants, and more, will try to answer the question. Viewers will be able to have a say in the Face-Off results by texting Social to 44264; they can ask a question during the debate by texting Ask a Question to 44264.
