Angel Litho Becomes Burton & Mayer Division

STURTEVANT, WI—Family-owned Angel Lithographing has been acquired by Burton & Mayer of Menomonee Falls, WI, the Journal Times reported. Manufacturing at Angel’s facility will shift to Burton & Mayer’s shop, and Angel will become a division of Burton & Mayer.

Angel Litho co-owners Bill and Dick Angel will join the Burton & Mayer sales force, according to the paper. An unspecified number of Angel Litho employees will join the ranks at Burton & Mayer.

The Angels, which initially sought out a merger partner, agreed to be acquired by Burton & Mayer because the companies had similar cultures, are family owned and union shops, the Journal Times reported. The firms have a combined $16 million in sales.

Angel Litho is a commercial printer that produces marketing materials, direct mail, booklets and catalogs, among other things.
