Signature to Unveil Facility with New Press

BOULDER, CO—Signature Offset, a coldset web offset publication printing specialist with seven U.S. locations, has ordered a new Goss press to anchor a soon-to-open eighth site. The four-tower Community SSC press and N-40 folder with quarterfold capabilities will be installed at an undisclosed East Coast location this summer.

Signature Offset serves publishers, producing a complete range of product formats and sizes on newsprint and uncoated stocks. The company was founded in 1970 and has production facilities in Denver and Colorado Springs, CO; Phoenix; Albuquerque and Las Cruces, NM; and Olive Branch and Hattiesburg, MS.

“We made our decision based on the support capabilities of the Goss International organization and the exceptional press technology they bring to the table,” said Brian Moser, production director for Signature Offset.

Moser emphasized that his company has invested heavily in advanced prepress capabilities across its sites in recent years. He added that the Goss Omnicon press control system is a differentiating factor that will extend the advantages of that digital front end directly to the press.
