Canon U.S.A.'s Seymour Liebman Promoted to Senior Executive Officer of Canon Inc.

MELVILLE, NY—April 24, 2013—As the first non-Japanese Canon executive honored with this achievement, Seymour Liebman, executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel, Canon U.S.A., and vice chairman, Canon Solutions America, Inc., was promoted to senior executive officer of Canon Inc., by the company's shareholders and board of directors. Liebman will continue his leadership posts at Canon U.S.A., in addition to his expanded role with Canon Inc.
