Rollem's Finishing Automation Opens New Product Offerings
ANAHEIM, CA—07/01/09—At this year’s PRINT show, Rollem will demonstrate a range of system designed to find untapped profit potential by saving up to 70% on finishing costs. Our customized finishing solutions increase automation by performing multiple processes in one system while eliminating excess machinery, waste and labor.
The systems shown in Rollem’s two booths plus in the Hewlett-Packard booth, will perform scoring, slitting, perforating, digital finishing, drilling, card deck production and direct mail solutions. Products including: playing cards, postcards, photo cards, self-mailers, brochures, card slitting, loose-leaf and Wire-o products can all be streamlined with one-step in-line finishing or press sheet to finished product.
New for ’09 is the Mailstream, a fully automated mail finishing system — from press sheet to finished, folded, and glued mailers, ready for postal mail bins. With its small footprint and low cost basis, printers and marketers of all sizes can bring mailing in-house with the Mailstream or the Mini-Mailstream. These system will be demonstrated in Booth #8345 in the Mailing and Fulfillment section of the show.
The Rollem Revolution will produce decks of casino quality poker cards at speeds of up to 40 packs per minute. This amazing system takes the 52 up sheet of cards and trims, slits, collates, wraps and delivers the finished decks of cards, all at speeds up to 2,000 per hour. Rollem & HP Team up for In-Line Digital Printing and Finishing. Visitors will see the Rollem Jetstream system operate in-line with the HP 5500 and UV Coater as various postcard applications are printed and fed from the HP Coater into the Rollem Slitting and Scoring system. Only Jetstream can perform high-volume in-line cutting automation with digital presses and UV coaters.
The PB-15 features automatic feeding, jogging, drilling and delivery at 10 times conventional drilling speeds. It’s the most efficient way to process loose-leaf, perfect bound books, stitched books and products requiring mechanical binding patterns.
