Santorum Campaign Train Stops Off at KS Printer

LENEXA, KS—Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum visited printer Harvest Graphics on Wednesday in advance of Saturday’s Republican caucus for the state of Kansas. Sadly, it seems, Santorum spent much of his 34-minute speech skewering his primary GOP foes, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, without acknowledging his host.

A Santorum aide told McClatchy Newspapers that Harvest Graphics was chosen for the campaign stop because the company’s owner, John Cowan, built the family-owned printing business from the ground up. However, Santorum never referenced Harvest or Cowan during his speech.

Harvest Graphics specializes in corporate identity pieces, according to its Website.

I’m from PA and I’m very glad that we got rid of this idiot.

He might have also seized the opportunity to use the time to show that Washington does or could begin to understand that the printing business is not just reacting to a poor economy, but is as affected by the Internet as the Post Office is.
