Proteus Starts Landmark VLF Press

FRANKLIN, WI—Proteus Packaging garnered the distinction of being the first U.S. company to install a six-color Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 145 VLF press with in-line aqueous coater. The press, which replaced a pair of aging 50" machines, is netting 10,500 sph after just three months in production, a figure Proteus expects will grow to 12,500 sph by the end of the year.
