Printgraphics Acquired by Ennis

MIDLOTHIAN, TX—Oct. 3, 2011—Ennis Inc. has acquired all of the stock of Printgraphics Inc. as of Oct. 1, 2011. (With $12.74 million in sales, the company ranked #311 on the 2010 Printing Impressions 400 list.)

Printgraphics has two locations, one in Vandalia, OH, and the other in Nevada, IA. Both will continue producing their current products and services. Printgraphics has been a leading wholesale manufacturer of integrated document solutions for more 33 years.

Paul Curry, who will continue in the role of Printgraphics’ president, said, “We are extremely pleased to announce that Printgraphics has become part of the Ennis family of companies effective Oct. 1, 2011. Ennis is one of the largest and most highly successful printing resellers in the industry. The acquisition of Printgraphics by Ennis will ensure the continued growth of the company into the future by allowing us to take advantage of their vast network of suppliers and economic strength.”

    ennis bought b&d litho of arizona back in 2007.
    the company was then doing about 11 million dollars a year in gross sales.
    update: b&d litho of arizona is now (2011) doing less then 2 million a year in sales and is all but broke.
    it has laid off 2/3 of its employees and given up its 40.000 sq warehouse.
    i do not see ennis sharing this info with its many investors.
    ennis has a large number of other companys and i wonder if this trend exist throughout all of them.
    if you are an investor i would suggest that you look into the real financial value of the overall ennis corp.
    you might find your investment is soon to be your loss…..
