GLS Companies Names Jayme Wisely Its New President and COO

BROOKLYN PARK, MN—Dec. 14, 2012—GLS Companies, a leading Minnesota printing and digital marketing services provider, has named Jayme Wisely to lead the company as president and COO.

Wisely joined GLS in May of 2011 as executive vice president and has been responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operating activities. His areas of responsibility have included revenue and sales growth; expenses, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management.

Gary Garner, GLS’ founder, president and CEO since 1984, will continue to oversee the company’s long-term strategies as chairman and CEO.

Wisely has nearly 30 years of experience in leading sales teams and organizational development initiatives.

Before joining GLS, he was vice president of sales and organizational development at Jostens. In that capacity, Wisely served as head of worldwide sales and was responsible for a sales force of independent and corporate sales representatives, associates and managers. His career at Josten’s spanned nearly 24 years in virtually every area of sales, channel development, organizational planning and sales administration.
