PRINT 13 Exhibition to be Themed ‘Innovate, Integrate, Communicate’

RESTON, VA—May 7, 2012—Printing industry professionals from around the world are expected to convene Sept. 8-12, 2013, at the McCormick Place exhibition center in Chicago to attend PRINT 13, the most comprehensive global graphic communications exhibition and conference held in the largest print market in the world. 

For the “Innovate, Integrate, Communicate” themed PRINT 13, demonstrating print driven multichannel communications for the show’s audience of 12 key market segments-from attendee and exhibitor communiqués, to the social media outreach-every aspect of the show has been crafted to stimulate 24/7 networking between industry experts and peers, and to facilitate connections among buyers and vendors to find the solutions that are just right for them.

Beyond the presence of co-show CPP Expo 2013, which will amplify for show goers the array of package printing and converting technology plus related education and networking opportunities, PRINT 13 will also welcome 50 other individual co-located conferences, user-groups, meetings and events to be held in tandem with the global show.

“Increasingly, the printing industry’s expanding array of products and processes are changing the role of print.  Recognizing the prominent place of these innovations, and their impact on increasing the effectiveness of communications today, we’ve integrated these tools into our own outreach, and aptly themed our 2013 event ’Innovate, Integrate, Communicate’,” says Ralph Nappi, president of the Graphic Arts Show Company, Inc. (GASC), the show’s producer.
     
PRINT 13 is expected to welcome 700+ exhibitors who will fill the nearly 7 hectares (17 acres) of exhibit space, which has been designed to cater to a diverse spectrum of attendees including: In-Plant Printers, Transactional Printers, Package & Specialty Printers, Wide Format Printers & Imagers, Quick /Small Commercial Printers, Commercial Printers, Photo Imagers, Mailing & Fulfillment Professionals, Book Printers/Publishers, Newspaper Printers/Publishers, Marketing/Creative Services Professionals, and Media/Print Buyers.  It is significant to note that 80 percent of attendees at this global marketplace are decision makers and key influencers.

At PRINT 13 attendees will experience the entire gamut of printing-related equipment, products and services in “live” running applications that will demonstrate all the latest technologies in commercial and quick printing, publishing, package printing, and high-volume enterprise output and more.

“A working knowledge of these new products and applications is critical to the future of the printing industry, because printing is no longer just about the printing press.  It’s about the entire process, from design through fulfillment, and also integrating innovative new applications such as printed electronics,” says Nappi.
