Dimension Pro 800 Platesetter, the latest addition to the Dimension line, is a semi-automatic 8-page CTP system that is an excellent entry-level to mid-range level solution for a wide range of printing environments. This easy-to-use platesetter offers semi-automatic loading with automatic registration. Utilizing Presstek thermal imaging technology, Dimension Pro 800 images up to 2400 dpi at 200 lpi on Presstek's chemistry-free thermal metal plates: Anthem Pro and Aurora Pro. Anthem Pro plates offer a throughput of 11 plates per hour and supports run lengths up to 100,000. Aurora Pro plates have a throughput of 15 plates per hour and support up to 25,000 impressions. Both require only a simple water wash prior to mounting on press and have strong resistance to UV inks and solvents. Supporting 1-Bit Tiff workflow solutions, the Dimension Pro 800 is capable of imaging plates up to 143 mm x 838 mm (45" x 33").

Vector FL52 and Freedom Pro Plates is the new version of Presstek's easy-to-use and affordable small format chemistry-free metal platemaking solution. It features a new imaging system that is engineered to deliver excellent dot quality and high reliability. Chemistry-free Freedom Pro plates are optimized to work with the Vector FL52. Their grained anodized surface provides superior on-press performance. Supporting run lengths of up to 25,000 impressions, Freedom Pro's true chemistry-free capability does not require any gumming, baking or chemical processing, thereby taking time and cost out of the process. Small commercial, in-plant and quick printers can now address a wide range of small format presses with the print performance benefits of a chemistry-free, grained aluminum plate imaged on one of the most cost-effective and easy-to-use 2-up CTP systems on the market.

Presstek Latitude. Making its North American debut at Graph Expo is this highly automated PDF/JDF prepress workflow, powered by EskoArtwork's Odystar. This robust workflow solution streamlines throughput and the processing of files. Its flexible suite of workflow tools allows for the automation of more prepress and production processes and easily accommodates last minute changes. In addition, Presstek Latitude incorporates advanced screening technologies, a state-of- the-art trapping tool, and integrated imposition options that ensure high quality, efficiency and productivity.
