SALT LAKE CITY—An unidentified 58-year-old man remains in critical condition after getting his clothes caught in a printing press Thursday, causing him to asphyxiate for an undetermined period of time, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.
The incident, which occurred at Sterling Press, resulted when the man's clothing got tangled in the machine, pushing his head against his chest and cutting off the flow of oxygen. According to the Tribune, a co-worker shut down the press and cut his clothing to free him. The victim was unconscious when rescue crews arrived. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
