PEMBROKE, NH—Precision Technology, a printer of direct mail advertisements, closed without warning on August 27, leaving 130 employees in shock and without jobs, according to the Concord Monitor.
President and owner Dennis Savitsky owes the city more than $280,000 in back taxes, according to the newspaper, and is apparently in violation of the federal WARN Act, which stipulates that companies with more than 100 workers must provide 60 days closure notice.
