POSTPRESS: Stahl folder won’t start or feed

October 2006
Get the Flash Player to see this rotator.

Do the following:

1) Turn off the power switch.

2) Unplug the folding stations and/or deliveries from first station.

3) Plug a blind/dummy plug into first station.

4) Turn the power back on and restart the machine.

If the folder still doesn't start, check the jam switch, fuses or drive button contacts. If the feeder is not working, check the double sheet detector, fuses or feed button contacts. If the first station started and/or fed properly, plug in the next units one at a time using the blind/dummy plug to find which station or delivery is causing the problem. Then check connections in plugs, fuses, jam switches and button contacts in the suspect unit.
