PODi’s 2013 AppForum Conference Welcomes Xerox and XMPie as Gold Sponsors

December 4, 2012
ROCHESTER, NY—Dec. 4, 2012—PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, has announced the first sponsors for the 2013 AppForum, the industry’s leading international digital printing conference, to be held on Jan. 28-30, 2013, at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. Xerox and XMPie return as Gold Sponsors.

PODi also welcomes Fujifilm and Finch Paper as Silver Sponsors, along with Avanti and PrinterPresence as AppForum Bronze Sponsors.

“A sponsorship in PODI’s 2013 AppForum is an investment in the graphic communications industry,” commented Gina Testa, vice president, Graphic Communications Industry, Xerox Corp. “Much like PODI, Xerox offers printers the education, tools and insight needed to be successful in today’s demanding marketplace. Print providers are reinventing themselves and are strengthening the industry to be a sought-after communications resource. We’re in lockstep with technology and solutions to help our customers transform their business.”

“XMPie is proud to be a Gold Level sponsor and is excited to be a part of the PODi AppForum for the ninth consecutive year,” added John Arnsdorf. product marketing manager. “Year after year, the AppForum has proved to be one of the most important events we participate in because the core strengths of our integrated multichannel platform are so closely aligned with the needs of the attendees.

“XMPie has developed a leadership position in providing software to help service providers deliver high-margin, high-value services, and this venue allows us to connect with and share our leading-edge solutions with innovative companies,” continued Arnsdorf.

“Our sponsors play a vital part in the success of the conference,” noted David Erlandson, event organizer and Caslon general manager. “Selected sponsors participate in panel discussions in our Emerging Technologies Track—sharing expertise in subjects like color management, marketing and workflow automation, Web-to-print, inkjet and liquid toner, video personalization and cross-media solutions. Gold Sponsor customers share their successful case studies. And Vendor Fair makes it easy to schedule productive one-to-one meetings with a range of potential partners, all in one place.”

PODi’s AppForum is a three-day educational digital printing conference, featuring more than 40 sessions, keynote presentations by top innovators, a full day of Pre-Conference Intensives, networking opportunities and a Vendor Fair. Tracks include Business Growth Strategies, Cross-Media Solutions, Digital Solutions, Emerging Technologies, and Innovative Packaging.
