PIA Sets 2009 Converge Conference Dates and Location

PITTSBURGH—March 5, 2009—Printing Industries of America is proud to announce that the 2009 Converge Conference, dedicated to the "Next Generation of Print and Communication Service Providers," will be held November 8-10, 2009, at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando, FL.
 
The business climate in the graphic communications industry is changing. Progressive printing companies are adding new services, changing their names, and rebranding. The result is a new breed of companies that are integrating the components of conventional print, digital reproduction, web technology, mailing services, personalized cross-media campaigns, and more.
 
This conference focuses on companies looking to learn how to turn new value added services into increased profits. Graphic communication companies have many unanswered questions regarding the best practices for these new services, and as a consequence, services are often poorly implemented or ignored.
 
The Converge Conference, "Next Generation of Print and Communication Services," will present the strategy, tactics, and tools necessary for creating a dynamic new profit-oriented business paradigm. Key industry leaders have acknowledged that there is no other conference attempting to serve the industry in the same way as Converge. The conference has three tracks: Sales and Positioning, Production and Workflow Issues, and Value-Added Services.
