PIA/GATF Supports Bush on Proposals
January 2007
WASHINGTON, DC—While President Bush was sharply criticized by some politicians and pundits following Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, not everyone was coming down hard on the leader.
The PIA/GATF released a statement saying it was encouraged by the “significant” proposals put forth by President Bush, according to PIA/GATF President and CEO Michael Makin. He said the association “looks forward to ensuing policy dialogue on important issues like access to affordable health care, energy security and immigration reform.”
