PIA/GATF Presidents Conference to Heat Up Arizona in March

February 2007
SEWICKLEY, PA—February 16, 2007— Excitement builds for the 2007 Presidents Conference scheduled for March 4–8 in Arizona. The great program and winter chill have heated up registrations as the deadline nears.

In addition to the quality speaker line-up including Michael Brandwein (Leadership in the Crossroads) and Marcus Nicolls (Creating Accountability in Organizations), PIA/GATF announced additional value-added elements. With 21 sessions and 8 roundtables planned, the attendees can customize their educational experience to their company needs.

With mergers and acquisitions in the headline each week, attendees can catch a rare first-hand account of the issues playing out with private equity partners in the printing industry. Also, six industry experts will be on hand for complimentary consultations in a variety of areas. Three new prestigious suppliers join the high-status list of prominent sponsors. The First PrintPac Silent Auction kicks off Monday evening social activities.

The special program Understanding the Value and Opportunity of Private Equity to the Graphic Arts Industry will be held on Wednesday, March 7 at 11:20 a.m. and features Robert Cronin, managing partner, The Open Approach; Richard F. Hoskins, partner, GenStar Capital, San Francisco; and Peter Mogk, partner, Huron Capital, Detroit. Attendees will hear an in-depth look into investing in the graphic arts industry through the eyes of private equity partners that have significant current investments in the industry.

Komori, KBA North America, and MAN Roland Inc. join the prominent sponsor list: Heidelberg, the premier sponsor; Adobe; HP; Independent Worldwide/Unisource Worldwide; Kodak; Partners In Leadership; Printing Impressions; Sun Chemical/Kohl & Madden; Utica National Insurance Group; and Xerox.
