Entries Now Being Accepted for the 2010 web2awards
PITTSBURGH—March 3, 2010—Printing Industries of America and the Digital Printing Council are accepting entries for the 2010 web2awards. Deadline for entries is May 31, 2010.
What are the web2awards?
The web2awards were established by Printing Industries of America and the Digital Printing Council to recognize, honor and elevate standards for websites that are print-centric. The mission of the web2awards, with a judging body consisting of educators, designers, Web programmers, e-commerce experts, marketers, and industry consultants; is to honor excellence in the various categories of print-related websites. More information can be found at www.printing.org/web2awards.
Benefits of participation:
All web2awards entries receive:
• Criteria scoring — receive feedback in the form of average scores on each of the six judging criteria for the entry's website as well as the final score.
• Score comparisons — comparison of scores with other entries in the category submitted as well as overall.
• Entries booklet — all entries submitted will be compiled into a booklet containing a screen shot of the main page, company information, and a summary of how the website has impacted business. This booklet will be distributed to all entrants for use as a benchmarking tool.
• Judges' comments — judges' comments are encouraged and feedback will be provided (please note that every site may not receive specific comments from the judges).
What 2009 Winners Are Saying:
