CHEVERLY, MD—Peake Printers, based here, and DeLancey Printing of Alexandria, VA, have agreed to a merger. The newly created company will be called Peake/DeLancey Printers.
The new company will operate out of Peake's 140,000-square-foot facility in Cheverly. DeLancey Printing founder Merle DeLancey will serve as president, with Peake Printers president Jay Rupard serving as CEO.
"The synergies of the combined company: union and commercial work, web and sheetfed printing, perfect binding, mailing and fulfillment services will be a perfect fit for our current customers and prospective accounts," states Rupard.
The anticipated opening for the new company is October 1, 2004.
