Emmaus, PA—Oct. 14, 2006—Overbridge Technology will introduce two new products for the web printing industry at the upcoming Graph Expo and Converting Expo 2006 in Chicago. The Expo will be held October 15-18 at Chicago’s McCormick Place South.

“Our two new products, Eclipse Count and Eclipse Roll, both provide incredible accuracy and are proven solutions to production cost containment for web presses of all sizes and configurations,” said Mark Daugherty, principal of Overbridge Technology, based in Emmaus, PA.

“With Eclipse Count you get incredibly accurate net signature counts, pallet/skid creation and content, and real time and historical automated press production reporting,” said Daugherty. It has been the norm for Eclipse Count to be installed plant wide after an initial installation on one press.

Daugherty continued, “Eclipse Roll is based on a proven solution for paper control that is installed on over 300 web presses in North America.” It monitors and records true paper linear yield and calculates actual basis weight, providing real time and historical paper usage by roll.

Said a production manager at a major book printer in Michigan: “Our previous count system didn’t come close to the consistent accuracy of Eclipse. We have not had a shortage or overage since Eclipse Count was installed over a year ago.”

The seamless integration of Overbridge’s Eclipse Roll and Eclipse Count provides consolidated press production/paper consumption reporting. The open database design readily allows integration into other existing business systems.
