Nominations for Third-Annual Positively Print Award Now Being Taken
This year’s Positively Print awardee will be recognized at a ceremony during the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference Reception on Oct. 6, 2012, the eve of GRAPH EXPO 2012, the year’s largest graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas. GRAPH EXPO 2012 will be held Oct. 7-10, 2012, in Chicago’s McCormick Place.
Intended to spotlight the variety of ways in which the effectiveness of print is being promoted, Positively Print entries may appear in the media anytime from June 9, 2011 until July 3, 2012 and be produced in any media, as long as the focus of the submissions are on print targeting print buyers, print influencers and the broader community.
Nominated candidates will be evaluated on their originality and perceived effectiveness in delivering the message of print as an integral-and effective-component of today’s integrated marketing campaigns.
“The Positively Print program was created to share examples of creative and effective print advocacy campaigns with the entire graphic communications industry,” said Ralph Nappi, president of GASC. “Again this year, we want to demonstrate to companies involved in print that advocating for print can be done and helps to carry a powerful message that will benefit the entire industry.”
The Positively Print program is administered as an extension of the EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference by GASC co-owners-the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL), NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, and the Printing Industries of America-with the support of the Print Council. In addition to the Positively Print program and EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference, this year’s “Print Integrated” themed GRAPH EXPO 2012 will offer a customized show-going experience to a diverse spectrum of attendees with the latest graphic communications technologies, equipment running live on the show floor, and “how-to” education on the most in-demand products and profit-making opportunities.
