NEW YORK, NY—February 28, 2014—Multi Packaging Solutions, a print and packaging provider that uses cold foil technology, has replaced its original OFT cold foil technology with an Eagle Cold Foil System. The company has teamed up with Eagle Systems for the past few years to continue to be a leader in this market.

Matt Dickman, regional director of operations, sent the Eagle technicians home early, thanking them for a job well done.

The New Eagle System—reportedly the only fully automatic cold foiler in the world with no programing—has many new features since the company’s previous Eagle of two years ago.

Eagle takes the mechanical effort out of the art of cold foil which allows the operator to focus just on regular press functions.

Eagle Systems Cold Foil unit was installed this past week on Multi Packaging’s 10-color KBA Rapida 105 2006 series. What was important to Multi Packaging was to not cut into regular production time. Install was started on Tuesday and sign off was on Thursday after running its first job.
