MGI Hosts Delegation from Chinese Printing Association

June 2008
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY—June 4, 2008—MGI Digital Graphic Technology, the multi-substrate (paper and plastic) digital press and finishing solutions manufacturer, hosted representatives on Tuesday from the Quick Print Association of China and representatives from the Chinese government at drupa 2008 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This delegation represented China’s main printing industry association and was arranged by Peter Lim, MGI’s director of sales for the Asia Pacific region. The Quick Print Association of China is chaired by K. Y. Cheng, the CEO of Beijing Basch Co. LTD., MGI’s international distribution partner for China.

The Beijing Basch Co. has placed an order for the Meteor DP60 Pro®, MGI’s flagship multi-substrate digital press, as well as the Meteor DP20 5-in-1 digital press for photo applications. Both presses were officially

launched at drupa 2008. These new units are in addition to several Meteor DP40 Pro® multi-substrate digital presses and UVarnish® offline auto-feed UV coaters ordered earlier this year.

MGI’s full line of digital printing and finishing solutions are on display in Hall 8b, booth #B10 at drupa 2008, the world’s largest print media trade fair.
