MetroGroup Closing Vermont Plant

LINCOLN, NE—MetroGroup Marketing Services will close the company’s plant in Rutland, VT, and distribute its operations among facilities in Nebraska and Iowa, the Rutland Herald reported. About 240 people will lose their jobs.

According to the Mt. Pleasant (IA) News, MetroGroup will be adding as many as 80 jobs to its plant in Mt. Pleasant.

The company specializes in printing, direct mail and packaging services.
