Mary Phillips Hadfield, 83, Co-founder of Kwik Kopy, Passes

TOMBALL, TX—Mary Phillips Hadfield, who launched the quick printing franchise Kwik Kopy Corp. (Kwik Kopy is now under the umbrella of ICED Inc.), along with her husband Bud Hadfield in 1967, passed away at 83 years of age at her home near Tomball, TX, reported the Houston Chronicle

According to the Houston Chronicle, Mary loved the business that she and her husband built together. She served as event planner, magazine editor, interior decorator, and gracious hostess, and was president of ICED.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Bud Hadfield, in 2011, and her son, James "Jim" Hadfield, in 2013, the Houston Chronicle reported, and she is survived by daughter Katherine Hadfield Denison and her husband, Pat, daughter-in-law Linda Hadfield; grandchildren Shay, Tate, and Reding Denison; Katelund "Katie" and Travis Hadfield; and nephew, Rick Hadfield and his family. Mary is also mourned by her colleagues at ICED.
