Manugraph Buys Dauphin Graphic Machines

MUMBAI, INDIA—Manugraph India has agreed to acquire Dauphin Graphic Machines (DGM) for $19.2 million. The company will be known as Manugraph-DGM when the deal is completed by the end of November.

DGM’s manufacturing and sales office in Elizabethville, PA, will be maintained, and its executives and managers are expected to remain following the transaction. Manugraph also has two manufacturing facilities in India.

23 March 2009--I have heard that DGM in Pennsylvania is soon going to be closing due to financial troubles. Rumor is they have laid off many of their workers and cut salaries of management. From the information I've heard it sounds like their days may be numbered as a US press manufacturer. It's sad that they sold to a foreign buyer.
