Xerox Sues Printer for Defaulting on Lease Agreements

CHARLESTON, WV—The Printing Press, based here, is being sued by Xerox Corp., which claims the printer defaulted on two lease agreements, The West Virginia Record reported. The manufacturer is seeking more than $258,000, plus pre- and post-judgement interest.

The lawsuit stems from a pair of leases The Printing Press signed with Xerox in 2008. The first was for a Xerox DC7000APC digital printer and a Xerox EX8000AP digital press. An agreement was later reached on a Xerox ColorWorks 8000 inline document finisher. Xerox claims that The Printing Press is in arrears in payment under the leases and has breached their terms, according to the Record.
