Lithographix Moves Into Digital With Indigo 7600
HAWTHORNE, CA—Lithographix Inc., a Southern California-based print, media and marketing provider, has installed an HP Indigo 7600 digital press, the latest model in the HP Indigo family of printers. The new digital offset press is reportedly the only one in the West that is fully integrated with all of the latest HP technologies.
The 13x19˝ press offers up to seven colors, embossing, special effects, multiple white channels, plus the press has custom ink mixing capabilities onsite.
Herb Zebrack, president of Lithographix, noted, "Our clientele has asked us for many years to get into the digital printing world, but we've waited until the technology was equal to our high-quality demands. HP has demonstrated that their technology, solutions and services are up to the task."
In addition to the new media technology, the company hired Matthew Paige as the manager of digital solutions. According to Jeff Young, vice president of sales, "Bringing in Matt at the same time as the HP Digital 7600 shows we are committed not to being just another digital printer, but a provider of profit opportunities to our clients. Matt's extensive background in variable and digital solutions will take us and our clients to the next level."
