Leading Experts to Headline the All-New 7th Annual Print & Media Conference Program

CHESTNUT HILL, MA—June 5, 2012—If you’re a professional that purchases, designs for, or markets with print and other media, then you’ve got more reasons than ever to attend the 7th Annual Print & Media Conference in October.
 
This all-new, not-to-be-missed event, produced by Margie Dana and Print Buyers International, will connect you with the leading trends and foremost experts in printing, digital printing, sustainability, photography, specialty graphics and more.
 
Co-located at the industry’s largest trade show and conference, GRAPH EXPO 2012, the Print & Media Conference will open at McCormick Place in Chicago on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, with a first-ever Color Management Workshop from 9 a.m. till noon, led by graphic arts visionary and Sappi Fine Paper North American ETC Print & Creative Manager Daniel Dejan. A charismatic speaker who transfixes audiences with his blend of knowledge, experience and wit, Dejan will offer new ways to face the challenges of color management in this special three-hour program.
 
The conference “proper” will kick off on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, with a high-energy address by Andrew Davis on “The Future of Digital Is Print.” Chief strategy officer and co-founder of Tippingpoint Labs, Davis will offer eye-opening insights on the role of print in the digital world during this breakfast presentation.
 
A second keynote address will ensue on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, when the world’s leading digital printing expert, RIT Professor Emeritus Frank Romano, opens the day with a presentation exploring “The New Digital Printing Landscape.” A masterful speaker and educator, prolific writer and publisher, and iving legend who has dedicated more than 50 years to the printing and publishing industries, Romano will take listeners behind the scenes to explain the major digital presses and how they differ.
 
The Print & Media Conference will offer 16 educational sessions in all, each led by an expert speaker on a subject you need to know about, such as:
