SOMERVILLE, NJ--October 2008--Kompac Technologies, LLC announces the release of the new Kompac Kwik Finish 26 - UV/Sapphire/Aqueous/Specialty Coating & Curing System.
Kompac successfully entered the UV Coating market with the introduction of the Kompac Kwik Finish 20 in late 2006. Since then the Kwik Finish has proven to be the most reliable, cost effective and flexible system on the market today! The system has been recognized as a Best of Show award winner at the 2008 On Demand show for the Finishing Group and is the only offline UV Coater that offers spot coating capability!
As popularity has grown and demand for a larger format has increased Kompac Technologies is proud to launch the Kompac Kwik Finish 26 at Graph Expo 2008.
The Kompac Kwik Finish 26 is an exciting new offline coating and curing system, providing a quick and easy way to apply UV/Sapphire/Aqueous & Specialty Coatings to a wide variety of substrates. From digital to offset output, each job will have the lasting durability, protection and rub resistant finish that your customers expect.

To showcase the capabilities of their new Kompac Kwik Finish 26 Offline UV Coating and Curing System, Kompac Technologies has chosen three images printed using MetalFX. Kompac will be coating the images in Booth 2681, and the items are expected to be popular with attendees as souvenirs of the show. Commenting on his selection, Kompac Director of Marketing Sean Gilmore said: "The images--a colourful lizard, a majestic butterfly, and sparkling diamonds--look terrific when printed using the MetalFX process, and the Kompac Kwik Finish makes them look even more striking." The samples were prepared by Stevenson--The Color Company, of Cincinnati, Ohio, one of the early MetalFX licensed printers.
