December 23, 2008
BOLINGBROOK, IL—December 23, 2008—The board of directors of Goss International has appointed Jochen Meissner as the company’s chief executive officer. Meissner had served as executive vice president and chief operating officer since joining Goss International in 2002. He succeeds Bob Brown, who will continue to serve the company as a member of the board of directors.

Meissner has extensive experience in the industry and has held management and executive positions with Man Roland, Heidelberg and Goss International. “Jochen has been instrumental in the strengthening of our global organization and our innovative product portfolio over the past six years,” explains Ed Padilla, chairman of the Goss International board of directors. “We are fortunate to have a proven, experienced leader prepared to take our company forward into its next phase.”

As a member of the board of directors, Brown will focus on strategic market issues and customer initiatives. “It has been a privilege to lead such a proud, technology leading organization and to work with great employees, printers and publishers around the world,” Brown said. “I look forward to continuing to work with Jochen on a variety of initiatives.”
