Jet Mail Adds Three Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS C8000 Digital Presses

RAMSEY, NJ—August 23, 2011—Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., a leading provider of advanced imaging and networking technologies for the desktop to the print shop, announced that Jet Mail Services has expanded its production print capabilities with the purchase of three bizhub PRESS C8000 color digital presses. The company is also intalling four bizhub PRO C6500 systems and a bizhub PRO 1200.

By doing so, Jet Mail has added variable-data printing to its portfolio of services and improved overall productivity with enhanced fire power and redundancy.

Looking to add new applications to meet client demand for variable data printing, print-on-demand fulfillment and short run printing, Jet Mail researched competitive solutions that would offer this capability, but also add the fire power necessary to bring its operations to the next level. Recommended by colleagues in the field and offering award-winning performance from the newest line of color digital presses, it was determined that Konica Minolta would provide the most reliable and highest-performing solution.

Since implementation in July 2011, Jet Mail has not only taken on a number of new print jobs, but also witnessed improvement in the quality of its output with the improved color consistency and superior reliability of the bizhub PRESS C8000 Systems. Additionally, the print house has experienced less downtime by growing its overall print fleet to include a combination of Konica Minolta production print systems that can handle large volumes of work and require minimal servicing.
