New InterACT! Conference Scheduled for August 2010

WEYMOUTH, MA/PHILADELPHIA, PA—January 25, 2010—InfoTrends and North American Publishing Co. (NAPCO) announced today the launch of InterACT!, an educational forum for marketers, brand owners and service providers on cross-media direct marketing opportunities and strategies. The event is scheduled for August 10-11, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare in Rosemont, IL.

“Marketing executives in every line of business are trying to better understand and optimize the use of customer data and digital assets for more effective cross-media marketing,” commented Peggy Hatch, President of the Target Marketing Group at NAPCO. “InterACT! will be a break-through event offering both thought leadership on and ground-level tactics for integrating print, online, mobile and social media to deliver interactive marketing campaigns that drive business results.”

This unique 2-day, 2-track program is designed for marketers, agencies, and custom publishers, as well as print/marketing service providers interested in improving how they interact with their customers and prospects. The conference program will focus on:

How Marketers Are Making Interactive Media Campaigns Work: This track will focus on tools available today for getting and keeping an interactive conversation going with customers.  Definition, discussions and examples of data driven marketing, multi-channel personalized URL campaigns, social media and networks, iPhone applications, bar code tools and augmented reality will be provided.  Participants will hear about new tools and how they have been effectively utilized in marketing campaigns.

Implementing New Media Solutions….Requirements for Success: This track will review the essential technology components for implementing and making interactive campaigns work.  Marketing IT technology partners and marketing service providers will hear about the essential technical components, “how to” advice on implementation, core competencies and partners required and the underlying business models.

In addition to the educational sessions, attendees will also have the opportunity to network with peers during the technology & services showcase, at which industry-leading vendors will be on hand to discuss the latest hardware, software, and services now available to make cross-media, multi-channel communications a reality for your business.
