HOUSTON—January 28, 2014—InfoVine, a Houston-based communications company specializing in innovative, integrated and data driven solutions, announces the rollout of its new HP Indigo 10000 digital press. InfoVine is the first commercial printer to offer this advanced technology to customers in Southeast Texas.
"The 10000 is a game changer," said Frank Hood, CEO of InfoVine. "The larger sheet size and speed will enhance marketing efforts in a dramatic way. The press is capable of running a 20x29" sheet size in four colors with built-in duplex capability, allowing for faster production and greater cost efficiencies for all of our customers. The press makes it possible, for the first time, to digitally print half-size press sheets."
Hood also added that the format enables highly efficient imposition of jobs and lowers the cost per sheet, pushing the break-even point versus offset. "The combination of press speed with the high number of images imposed per sheet delivers at least two and a half times the productivity of any digital sheetfed press in the market today.”
The new Indigo 10000 joins the company's fleet of Indigo presses, including an Indigo 7600 and an Indigo 3550.
