InfoPrint Solutions to Feature Business Output Solutions

October 2008
BOULDER--October 22, 2008--InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, today announced its lineup of market-leading solutions for the commercial print industry to be shown at GraphExpo 2008, the largest exhibition of its kind in the world, at its booth 2276.

InfoPrint will showcase its most comprehensive solutions portfolio to date including: Suite of TransPromo Solutions; Print On Demand (POD) technologies for high quality, high speed monochrome and color output to reduce book production costs and improve productivity; and Automated Document Factory (ADF), designed to solve the challenges of postal optimization and mailroom integrity.  InfoPrint technology partners including Press-Sense, Prinova and SAS will also demonstrate software and workflow offerings as part of this lineup.

These will run on the InfoPrint range of printers that includes the recently launched InfoPrint Pro C900. This color cutsheet platform, which will be available in early 2009, bridges the mid-range gap between production machines such as the full-color drop-on-demand InfoPrint 5000 and monochrome InfoPrint 4100, and the company's existing cutsheet portfolio. It also enables the creation of dynamic digital output which is ideal for in-plant and print-for-pay customers with monthly volumes of 50,000 to 240,000 pages. At GraphExpo, the high speed InfoPrint EMP156 and the flexible InfoPrint 2235 will complete the cutsheet offerings on display. Visitors to the booth can also view leading models from InfoPrint's line of workgroup printers.

"InfoPrint continues to strive to be the best teammate to our customers, helping them to run their overall operations smarter and at lower cost while reaching their own customers in a timely and relevant manner, and creating sustainable, cost-effective output," said Sandra Zoratti, Vice President, Global Marketing Manager at InfoPrint. "Our Meet the Experts program at GraphExpo will showcase this expertise. Our professional services team will be on hand to meet with customers to discuss innovative implementation techniques for customized campaigns and the key drivers of TransPromo in today's on-demand, budget-conscious environment."

Monochrome continuous forms - InfoPrint 75 and InfoPrint 100

At GraphExpo, InfoPrint will announce the availability of the InfoPrint 75 and InfoPrint 100 monochrome continuous forms digital output solutions.  First unveiled at drupa 2008, these printers offer additional depth to the recently upgraded InfoPrint continuous forms portfolio.  The InfoPrint 75 and InfoPrint 100 print at speeds of up to 115 pages per minute (ppm) and 154 ppm respectively.  These solutions are targeted to companies who print client invoices, direct marketing mailings, labels and distribution center picking slips.
