WHEATON, IL—David Andrew Samide, age 32, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 21st after a courageous battle with cancer. He had gallantly fought for seven years against brain cancer, continuing to work and enjoy his many, many friendships with industry and media people, and his coworkers.
Upon graduation from North Central College in Illinois with a degree in Marketing, he joined Prime UV Systems in December 2000 as Marketing Assistant. David’s excellent work with the media and trade show communities, and Prime UV customers earned him promotion to Marketing Manager shortly thereafter.
David is survived by his parents, Andy and Judy Samide, his sister Amy and brother Mike, a nephew and two nieces. Private services were held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
