Lukas Takes CEO Helm at Fry Communications

MECHANICSBURG, PA—There has been a changing of the guard at Fry Communications. Henry Fry has named Michael Lukas to be his successor as CEO of the firm, effective last Monday, while he will assume the position of chairman of the board. As chairman, Fry will maintain his involvement in the overall direction of the company, with a focus on special initiatives.

Lukas has been with Fry for 25 years, serving as COO for the past three and a half years. All divisions and departments of the company will report to him.

“Mike has the unique ability to keep people enthused about a project or program, but also maintain discipline. He expects and receives high achievement from his team members,” Fry said. “He has always led by example, never asked people to do something he himself was not prepared to do, and above all, he has created a team spirit. Fry Communications will continue to thrive under his leadership.”

Lukas holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Penn State University, and has been a licensed Certified Management Accountant and member of the Institute of Management Accountants for more than 25 years.
