Heidelberg USA to Host 5th Annual ‘Brats & Dots’ Open House

November 2007
KENNESAW, GA—November 8, 2007—Heidelberg will host its fifth Annual “Brats & Dots” open house at its state-of-the-art Print Media Demonstration Center (PMDC) in Kennesaw, Ga., on Thursday, November 29 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Printers from around the Southeast and beyond are invited to see the latest prepress, press and postpress technologies in action and meet one-on-one with Heidelberg experts.

Attendees can view live demonstrations of technology advancements in workflow, CtP, sheetfed, postpress, service and consumables. In addition, Heidelberg executives, product managers and staff will be on hand to answer questions and help customers maximize their investments in Heidelberg solutions.

“Brats & Dots is designed as a forum for our customers to experience new print technologies first-hand so that they can make informed business decisions,” said James Dunn, president of Heidelberg USA. “We look forward to this event each year and the opportunity to connect with our customers and learn more about their own customers’ evolving needs so that we can continue to equip them for the future.”

At 40,000-square feet, the PMDC is Heidelberg’s largest demonstration center in the world. Its full range of solutions include, but are not limited to, the Speedmaster SM 52-4+LX with Anicolor, Speedmaster XL 105 press, Dymatrix 106 CSB die cutter, Diana X 135 folder gluer and Stahlfolder TH/KH folders. To much fanfare, the center opened its new 6,000-square-foot packaging addition earlier this year.

Brats & Dots attendees who work up an appetite are invited to indulge in some German culture. Heidelberg will be serving traditional Bratwurst and German potato salad. There also will be several prize drawings at this year’s open house. Customers will have a chance to win one of three iPod Nano’s. Drawings will be held at 1, 3 and 5 p.m.
