Heidelberg Partners With Industry Leaders to Offer Print Media Academy Educational Seminars

September 2008

KENNESAW, GA--September 29, 2008--Heidelberg today announced the lineup of its Print Media Academy (PMA) educational seminars open to all 2008 Graph Expo attendees. Industry authorities such as NAPL's Andrew Paparozzi and PrintBuyersOnline.com's Suzanne Morgan will join Heidelberg packaging, prepress and sheetfed experts to offer a total of 15 free seminars covering the latest industry trends and business issues. Heidelberg's PMA provides industry training and seminars year-round in key locations across the globe. At Graph Expo, the PMA will temporarily come to Chicago's McCormick Place to serve as a hub of industry thought leadership during the tradeshow, to be held Oct. 26-29.

"Heidelberg is committed to fostering industry education through our PMA and participation in other important initiatives such as the Education Summit and SkillsUSA," said Larry Kroll, vice president, Print Media Academy, Heidelberg USA. "Graph Expo presents a great opportunity to come together with other print industry leaders to tackle the common challenges facing our industry today and focus on creating solutions that will help our industry grow and thrive in the future."

PMA sessions at Graph Expo will cover topics such as: "Trends in Print Buying"; "Top 20 Pressroom Problems"; "The State of Our Industry"; "Three Reasons You Must Optimize Your Workflow"; "Why You Need an MIS System"; and "Finishing for Profitability", among many others. All PMA seminars will be located in the Heidelberg booth #1200, which will demonstrate Heidelberg's theme of "HEI Performance and HEI Value" by featuring a range of prepress, commercial print, packaging, postpress, service and workflow solutions.
