First West Coast Printer Certified by SGP
LOVELAND, OH—April 6, 2010—The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership announces that it has certified Greenerprinter of Berkeley, CA as a SGP Printer, bringing the total number of certified facilities to 19.
Greenerprinter has 22 years of experience in providing sustainable printing solutions, and is the first printer on the West Coast to become certified by the SGP Partnership. Recognizing the environmental challenges we all face, Greenerprinter takes pride in holding itself to the highest environmental standards. Printing facilities located in the United States and Canada are eligible to apply for certification with the SGP Partnership. To become a certified SGP Printer, a facility must demonstrate conformance with criteria that require a holistic approach to sustainability and must pass an onsite audit. Certified printers are assigned a certification number and logo for use on their printed products to indicate it was “Printed by a SGP Printer.”
