Vertis Installs New Sunday Press in PA Facility

BALTIMORE—Direct mail printing specialist Vertis Communications has installed a new Goss Sunday 2000 press in its direct marketing facility in Chalfont, PA. The technology will enable hyper-personalized marketing for its major clients, including American Express, Macy’s, Citigroup, Chrysler and Ford.

“Our clients are executing highly personalized, sophisticated direct marketing strategies that leverage data, creative and innovative in-line print processes often on condensed timelines and with the expectation of greater ROI,” said Steve Flood, senior vice president and general manager of Vertis’ Direct Marketing division. “This new technology enables faster speed-to-market and innovative formats that engage with customers in a relevant manner and stand out from the competition, which we call hyper-personalized marketing.”

The Goss Sunday 2000 press, which features speeds up to 2,400 fpm, can produce short-run quantities and provides rapid turnaround on long-run projects, reducing production time and maximizing return on investment. The workflow is positioned to support marketing segmentation and versioning demands for brands that require complex and highly personalized communications to reach individual audiences.
