Globe Direct Injunction Denied in Kirkwood Suit

WILMINGTON, MA—Middlesex Superior Court has denied Globe Direct’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Kirkwood Direct and some employees formerly employed by Globe Direct.
The Court ruled that Globe Direct “had failed to establish a likelihood of success on the merits.” Globe Direct is a direct marketing subsidiary of the Boston Globe.
Globe Direct filed suit, alleging that former employees now with Kirkwood Direct had misappropriated trade secrets and confidential information from Globe Direct.
This updated information was too late for the March issue of Printing Impressions, but will appear in the April edition.
